The graph below sows the average monthly change in the price of three metals during 2014. 

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 165 words


The given line graph compares the alteration of the amount of money for purchases of three specific metals in different months of 2014. (Introduction)

Overview, in the first month of 2014, Nickel had more changes in price tan the other metals. In addition, the average price of of both Zinc and Copper remained stable during this period, whereas, this figure for Nickel dramatically decreased in the year. (Overview)

From January to June, it can be seen that this rate for Nickel fell from 6% to a negligible - 3%.  Moreover, by March, Zinc had taken over Nickel in terms of cost change., reaching a 1% change in cost in comparison with the last month. (BP1)

Looking between June and December, in the majority of this period, Nickel experienced under 0% modification , while the price of Zinc reached a peak of 2% in December. Furthermore, Zinc was replaced as the first in this term after October. (BP2)
