WRITING WEEK - Day 1 Task II Essay Agree/Disagree Crime rates are likely to decline due to the advancement in technology, which will help preventing and solving crimes in an easy way. Do you agree or disagree? It is often argued that averting and resolving crimes is easier these days, thanks to the exponential growth of science and technology. (Paraphrase) However, the blessings of science are accessible to the criminals, too, who will develop more and more innovative ways of committing crimes, which the law and order authorities have not even imagined hitherto. In my opinion, even though crimes can be prevented and unfolded, these scientific methods can not reduce the crime rates. (Thesis) To embark on, without any doubt, technology plays a pivotal role in solving crimes. ( Argument 1) Firstly, it is much easier these days to decipher crimes committed with the advanced security systems such as CCTVs, finger print scanners, face scanners and so on. Secondly, communication among
