IELTS letter to the restaurant expressing satisfaction.

You and some friends ate a meal at a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and you were pleased with the food and service. 

Write a letter to the restaurant manager. In your letter:

* give details of your visit to the restaurant

* explain the reason for the celebration

* say what was good about the food and service.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my greatest satisfaction regarding the outstanding food and service we have enjoyed in your restaurant recently. Thank you for making our event special .

It was my friend's birthday, so we decided to celebrate it at your restaurant on 25th May 2025 at around 7.30 pm, due to its convenient location and good reputation for delicious food . I am happy that we picked your place. (Bullet point: 1)

Ten of us went to your eatery and we enjoyed a traditional Canadian cousin for dinner and a special birthday cake  from your restaurant. It really was worth the money we paid because I suppose, you have hired the best chef in the town. The service of the staff was also excellent. They were truly well mannered, organised skilled in service. On top of that, the interior design,  and the soft music were admirable. (Bullet point: 2)

We also appreciate how preciously you treat your customers when my friend received a box chocolates as a birthday gift on behalf of your restaurant. That, indeed, made her day an occasion to remember. (Bullet point: 3)
