The following four paragraph structure is the best suited to write a satisfactory answer.

Paragraph 1. Introduction

* Paraphrase the idea of the general statement. Care must be taken to see that you do not deviate from the topic. For that, do the Key Word Analysis (KWA) by marking the key ideas. Try to make complex sentences.
* Thesis sentence: This is your answer.  It is here you have to establish your opinion. You can agree with either views or even agree with both, in certain cases, if you think both the views are equally significant.
It is better to avoid writing a separate  paragraph of your opinion because that will take time and space.

Paragraph 2. Body Paragraph 1.

* State the first view.
* Explain it; the supporting sentence (Reason)
* Give a relevant example to support the view
* Conclude the body paragraph.

Paragraph 3. Body paragraph 2.

* State the second view.
* Explain it: the supporting sentence ( Reason)
* Give a relevant example to support the view
* Conclude the body paragraph

Paragraph 4.  Conclusion.

* Re-state the paraphrase given in the introduction.
* Re-state the thesis sentence including your opinion.

Note: Express your opinion in both introduction and conclusion.

Model Answer

A growing number of people feel that animals should not be exploited by people and they have the same rights as humans, while others argue that human beings must employ animals to satisfy their various needs including uses for food and research Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Animals have been used in diverse ways to fulfil the multifarious requirements of human beings ever since the dawn of history. It is often argued that they should not be abused for human needs; however, others disagree and they think that the use of animals is inevitable for the existence of human race. This essay will dwell on both the views and validate my opinion that the use of animals can be sanctioned, provided we inflict minimum pain upon them.

To embark on,  the proponents of animal exploitation believe that it is acceptable to use living beings for human survival. They reckon that no stones should be left unturned to ensure the continued existence of Homo sapiens because they are the most evolved of all creatures. Whether it is for food or for medical researches, animals are the indispensable resources. For instance, several diseases, which were thought to be incurable, are now entirely our control, or even eradicated from the face of the earth because of the experiments conducted upon them. Therefore, the exploitation of animals is justified.

On the flip side, a section of the demographics believes that using animals for researches is unethical because they also have the privilege animal rights.  For example, the excruciating pain meted out to animals in the name of human welfare is entirely unacceptable. Despite this, the use of animals can be sanctioned, provided we inflict minimal pain upon them because the usage of animals is imperative.

To conclude, it is widely held that animals ought to be treated in the same way as humans are and they have similar right, where as others deem that it is more important to use them as we require them for food and researches. Thus, this essay has discussed both the views and established my opinion that even though exploitation of animals is unethica and inhumane, it can be justified, provided we inflict less pain  and care more for them,
