Given below is a set of questions for practice. Answer as many questions as possible. Write essays to satisfy the requirements laid down in the Marking Criteria (public version). Quantity seldom matters; what matters is the quality. Get the feedback for each answers and follow the models given earlier.

1. Education

Traditional schooling is out of date, boring and stifles a child's talents. Are there any alternatives in education system? Is traditional education doing more harm than good?

2. Technology.

Should humans adapt to technology or technology adapt to us?Is technology making us intellectually weaker or more intelligent?

3. Education.

Do you think it is better for students to work before their university study? Why?

4. Health.

Many doctors say that people in today's world do no do enough exercise. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions are there to this problem? 

5. Gender issues.

Nowadays both men and women spend a lot of money on beauty care unlike in the past. What could be the root cause of it and discuss the possible results. 

6. Travel and transport.

Recently people tend to drive to the large out-of -town stores. Do you think the advantages of such development outweigh its disadvantages?

7. Culture.

Some people think it is better to spend and enjoy their money once they earn it. Others think it is better to save their money and enjoy it. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

8. Government.

Should government support artists TV, such as, musicians, painters and writers? Is it economically beneficial or is it  just a waste of money?

9. Globalization.

Some people think that the most important aspect of their job is their salary. Others think that job itself is more important. what do you think is the most important aspect of a job?

10. Law and order.

Nowadays, there is an increase in social problems involving young people because more parents spent time at work than with their children. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement?
