Evaluation of Task 1
The given line graph illustrates the production levels of the different types of fuel that are produced in the UK, mainly between the years of 1981 and 2000. There are three types of fuel mainly coal, petroleum and natural gas.
Overview, Petroleum fuel was the highest produced fuel which is at 97 energy units and (Gr) peaked (gr) to 140 in 1986. However, it had slopped down to 100 energy units by 1991, but rose back to 140 energy units by the end of 2000. In 1981, natural gas was the lowest in terms of energy untis which was below 40 energy units and (gr) kept fluctuating until 1991 where it quickly rose to 80 energy units until about in the year 2000.
On the contrary, Coal initial had around 80 energy units in 1981 and was the second-most produced fuel during that time, (Gr) it however, had risen again to 60 energy units and fluctuated until the end of the year 1991, but (gr) gradually decreased down to 37 energy units in 2000.
