Migration of people to cities is one of the biggest problems facing the world's cities today.
What are the causes of it?
What solutions could be used to tackle this situation?

Paragraph 1. Introduction
The large flow of rural population to the cities in pursuit of better living conditions results in urbanisation which is a threat to the governments globally. (Paraphrase) This essay will dwell on the causes of rural migration, such as the search for work or modern facilities of life and solutions including improving the quality of life, and providing better amenities , which will make them stay back in villages. (Thesis)

Paragraph 2. BP 2 (Causes)
To embark on, people emigrate to cities from villages for various reasons such as seeking better opportunities for education, employment and social services. They want to escape from poverty, conflicts and natural disasters which are abound in rural areas. (Causes) Moreover, the rustics are attracted by the benefits of urban life, such as entertainment, cultural diversity and connectivity. (Reasons) Mumbai is the prime example for rural migration, where hundreds of people flock in the already saturated city form near by villages. (Example) Thus, the irresistible attraction of city life makes rural population relocate to cities, leaving their villages. (Conclusion BP 1)

However, the complex problem of rural migration can be solved by the collaboration and co-ordination various actors such as the governments, civil society and international agencies. Promoting the rights and protection of the villagers is the first step to stop them from re-locating to cities. ( Solutions) Furthermore, the authorities should provide the facilities which the villagers seek, which will make them stay back. (Reasons)For instance, Navi Mumbai, the satellite city, could save Mumbai from rural migration. (Example)Therefore, with well planned steps this problem can be solved. (Conclusion)
Paragraph 4 Conclusion
To conclude, rural migration to cities is an international phenomenon, which is caused by multiple factors. However, it can be effectively checked by the combined activities of the governments, NGOs and social organisations.

1. Why there is a rapid economic development in some countries
Some countries, such as India, China, Singapore and Korea have implemented various policies and strategies and used advanced technology which made their economy develop faster than other that of others. Thus, they increased their productivity and efficiency of the economy.
3. Why rural areas are not developing?
* Rural areas lower income and higher percentage of population at the risk of poverty and social exclusion. They lack basic infrastructure and services, such as health, transport, education and broad band internet. This affects the well-being, mobility and connectivity of people.
* Rural areas are more exposed and sensitive to the impact of environmental and climatic changes, such as soil erosion, water scarcity, biodiversity loss and pests.
