1. Many people share their good news on social media. Do you think businesses achieve more sales by sharing good news on social media?
Ans: Well, I think, businesses can potentially gain more sales by sharing good news on social media. With more consumers turning to the internet for products and services, business are using social media to reach their target audience and drive sales. Social media interactions build trust and loyalty, which make your social media friends or fans to a sale of a product.
2. How might small business owners use social media to promote their business?
Ans: Well, I guess, small business owners can use social media to promote their businesses in several ways:
* If you have a website for hosting your products, you can easily use social media to direct traffic to your private platforms.
* Businesses can use social media to interact with their customers, respond to their queries, and receive feedback.
3. Do you think word-of-mouth plays a significant role in spreading good news about small businesses?
Ans: Well, that's an interesting question. I think word-of-mouth is an effective way to advertise, attract, and win customers. It's especially powerful because it is organic and based on personal relationships and experiences. For instance, I selected Bemax Academy for my IELTS training because it was recommended by my friend who studied there, and he got a very good score. So, I think word-of mouth plays a vital role in advertising,
4. What are the advantages of starting a small business compared to a large business.
Well, one of the advantages of small businesses is that they can offer a more personalised service. They can take the time to get to know the potential customers, evaluating their needs and developing a solution that is perfect for the customer. Another important merit of small businesses is that you are the boss, and it gives you much freedom to take decisions that you think are the best for the business.
5. How do you think the challenges faced by small businesses differ from those of larger companies.
Ans: I guess, the challenges are different mainly because of their size, resources and market presence.
Firstly, the small businesses often find it hard to attract new customers because of the limited brand recognition. For instance, when you plan to buy gold or silk, the first names come to your mind are Kalyan or Bhima. That's the brand value of big businesses.
Secondly, the small businesses may often struggle to offer competitive salaries and benefits to the employees. So, it's difficult for them to retain valuable employees.
Larger companies often face obstacles like politics and tough competition among the others to maintain their brand value. So they need to constantly innovate and stay ahead of the competition. You can see in any major city how hard the shopping malls and supermarkets trying to attract the customers.
6. How do small businesses impact local communities and economies?
Ans: Well, the small businesses have a significant impact on local communities and economies in several ways.
For example, job creation. They are the major source of employment. Another is the economic activity. The small businesses generate a considerable portion of the economic activities. Moreover, they contribute to a diverse and vibrant business environment.
7. Do you think government support is crucial for the growth of small businesses?
Ans: Without any doubt, government support is essential for the growth of small businesses. For instance, governments can provide financial assistance to help the business grow.
Also, governments can conduct seasonal exhibitions, which will attract more and new customers to the small scale businesses.
