Model Answers:
1. IELTS Examiner: Do you use any gadgets on a daily basis?
Candidate: Well, without any doubt, I use several gadgets in my day-to-day life. Although I don't consider myself a geek, I quite enjoy using all the new items such as laptops and smart phones. All in all, we are living in the computer age, and it's impossible to ignore cutting-edge technology.
2. IELTS Examiner: Do you own a computer? How often do you use it and for what purpose?
Candidate: Well, I would say, I have a personal computer and a laptop. I use laptop mainly for studies. It's very light and fits in my bag easily. Meanwhile, my PC has a large screen and convenient keyboard, so I use word processing and browsing websites. It's an old but still a well-oiled machine.
3. IELTS Examiner: How often do you use the internet?
Candidate: Well, I reckon, I use the net almost everyday. It helps me with my studies, and entertains me when I'm down. Surfing the internet is my hobby. Even though I don't like social medias like FB, I often use video conferencing.
4. IELTS Examiner: How do computers affect our everyday life?
Candidate: Well, I think, they have a positive impact in our day-to-day life. Computers help us in multiple ways, starting from writing and printing our own essays, and even developing advanced programs and digital editing. Without any doubt, computers play no small role in education.
