Writing Task 1. Map

Map. A current and future re-development plan of a village. On the current plan, it has only four-bedroom houses and a large forest. However on the future re-development plan, there are several square-shaped parcels of residential lands and a smaller forest.

Task 2, Essay

Some people believe that students acquire working experience during their gap year instead of traveling. Do you agree or disagree with the opinion?

Part 1

1. Could you please tell me your full name?
2. Can I see your ID?
3. Where do you come from?
4. Are you a student or do you work?

Lets talk about barbecue parties.
5. How often do you take part in barbecues?
6. Did you have any barbecues when you were a child?
7. Where is the best place for a barbecue, in your opinion?
8. What type of food is the best for this occasion?
9. Do you like to have such parties with friends or families?
10. Do you think you will take part in more or fewer barbecues in the future?

Part 2 CUE CARD

Describe a place where you would like to live in the future. You should say:

* Where and what it is
* How you learnt about it
* What should you do to make it happen
* And explain how you feel about living there

Part 3. DISCUSSION

1. Do you think young and old people have different preferences for a place to live in?

2.Do you think people will make holiday destinations in space or on other planets in the future?

3. Is it possible to develop cities while maintaining harmony with the nature? 




Model Answers 

1. IELTS Examiner: Do people in your country like barbecues?

Candidate: Well, without any doubt, barbecues are the part of our culture. We have easy access to different barbecue street foods wherever we go. Also, when there's special gathering in a family. like celebrating birthdays anniversaries, barbecue is one of the sought-after foods. Moreover, it's undeniable that barbecuing is one of the ways to prepare food for the visitors. 

2. IELTS Examiner: What kind of food do you like to eat for barbecue?
Candidate: Well, I would say, I enjoy eating barbecues such as beef, chicken , sausages, and some vegetables like potatoes and carrots. I'm a non-veg and in culture, there are a thousand preparations that make your stomach growl.    

3. IELTS Examiner: Would you like to have a barbecue with your friends or family?
Candidate: Well, I guess, I love doing it with my friends more than my family because it's  a great fun with friends. I would say, when my relatives are around, I feel a lack of freedom. On the other hand, in the company of friends I'm at my liberty to say do anything I wish.

4. IELTS Examiner: Did you have barbecues when you were a child?
Candidate: Well, I remember it vividly, i didn't experience having a barbecue with my family. However, I ate lots of barbecues, but they were not prepared by my parents.
