Part 2. Cue Card.
Talk about a person much older than you, whom you admire. You should say:
* Who the person is
* How do you know him or her
* Describe some of the things you do together
* And explain why you admire him/her
[Noteworthy, this question seems to be a minion of the question- framers because it is repeated in several countries across the globe.
For instance, the same question was asked to our Jithu Britto in Kollam, Elizabeth Francis in Noida and Ravi Shankar in Dubai. Obviously, IELTS repeats questions, unlike in OET !!!]
Part 3. Discussion.
1. Do you think you can relate to that person?
2. Do you think that the older generation can learn something from the younger generation?
3. Can older generation learn anything else, not related to technology?
4. Do you think people from the older generation can be friends with the younger generation?
5. You said that in other countries older people are nice and kind to younger generation. Is it possible in your country?
6. Which do you think is better?
7. Do you think that the younger people are more respectful towards the older people than they used to be in the past?
