* Who you would teach
* And explain why you would like teaching this skill.

[Interestingly, this question was asked in Kenya (Africa) yesterday and our student, Ms Mumtaz Salahudeen of online session gave the skill she wanted to teach: Laying Mehendi (Henna). She is an expert in that skill and make no small pocket money out of it during her down time!!!!!. Congrats Mumtaz.

And, this is a classical evidence that IELTS recycles and re-uses Speaking questions].

Model Answers

1. IELTS Examiner: Can you compare the skills that are important today with the skills that were important earlier?

Candidate: Well, I would say, two or three decades ago, traditional skills such as weaving, knitting, sewing and pottery making were an integral part of people's lives. However, in the modern world computer, management and data analysis skills are more important because we live in a tech-savvy era.

2. IELTS Examiner: What skills are valued most in your country?

Candidate: Well, I believe, my country is a developing nation and there are several sectors such as banking, information technology, tourism and hospitality which are much are much favoured. In all these sectors, computer and communication skills are inevitable. No one can thrive here without them. For instance,  even a small retail shop makes use of computer for transactions which tells the importance of it.

3. IELTS Examiner: What kinds skills will be important in the future?

Candidate: Well, I guess, considering the data generated each day, in the future the demand for research and data analysis will rise considerably. Anyway computer will have an upper hand in the future.

4. IELTS Examiner: What qualities does a trainer need to have?
Candidate: Well, without any doubt, a trainner should have a wide range of skills. Firstly, he/she should possess an erudiction. Secondly, he/she must be friendly, punctual and impartial. Moreover, the trainer should understand the problems of the trainees and try to solve them proactively.

5. IELTS Examiner: Why should companies invest a lot of money in training?
Candidate: Well, I would say that training programmes are vital to the growth of a company. A company with well-trained staff is more likely to outperform its competitors. Regular training sessions upgrade the knowledge and skills of the employees, which in turn leads to higher productivity and profitability. For that reason, in my opinion, many companies spend a major share of their annual budget on different types of training.
