OET Writing, The Connectors to be  Avoided. In OET writing, it is important to use connectors that are  appropriate for the professional tone of a healthcare letter. Avoid using the following connectors : 1.  Academic Connectors : These are typically used in academic writing and may not be suitable for the professional tone of OET writing.
