  IELTS Reading- Choose the Section How to do do Choose the Section Step 1:   Read the title of the text and the directions carefully to note  (i) the number of sections (e.g., A - G), and the number of          paragraph each section contains.     (ii) number of questions to be answered, (iii) if there is any 'N.B, and what does it demands) Step 2:   Read the questions and underline the key words Step 3:   Read each section (including the paragraphs, if any) starting from section A    Step 4:   Go back to each question to see if the section A contains  the synonyms, synonymous language, or paraphrase of the kw  underlined in any of the questions. Step 5: That question number is your answer.   List of Heading (LOH) Step 1.  Read the title and Directions Step 2.   i) Check how  many choices are in the box ii) how many paragraphs are there and iii) how many choices you need to leave.   Step 3.   Go to the Box and underline the keywords of each choice i to ix. Step 4.   Read Paragraph A with the keyword in mind. (The answer will be in the synonym/paraphrase of the keywords. Mind you, usually the keywords are in the wrong answers . ) Step 5.  Re-check and eliminate the other choices. Once you got the right answer, enter it in your book and  delete that choice .  Step 6.   Read the remaining keywords and repeat the cycle.                  _____ The End______
